Hi, I’m Hazel

I’ve been a hairstylist for 20 years, and hair has been a big part of my life—but the way I approach beauty has evolved right along with me.

I began my career in Minneapolis, graduating from Aveda Cosmetology School and then spending a year and a half at Moxy Hair Salon. Eventually, I took a leap of faith and opened my own salon. What started as a dream became a salon I was fortunate enough to grow and nurture for more than 10 years. I built relationships with clients who became friends, created a space that felt like home, and even made it through the challenges of the COVID shutdown. Those years taught me so much—not just about hair and running a business, but about connection, resilience, and what it truly means to care for the people in my chair.

Becoming a mom changed the way I looked at beauty. During my pregnancy with my son, I became much more conscious of ingredients, plastics, toxins, sustainability, and the impact our everyday choices have on our health and our planet. That curiosity grew into a passion for cleaner, low-tox, sustainable, and ethically sourced beauty.

After moving to Florida and beginning a new chapter, I found myself wanting to create a hair experience that reflects who I am today—mindful, conscious, personal, and grounded in care.

I believe your time in my chair should be more than just getting your hair done. It’s a chance to slow down, feel cared for, and leave feeling like yourself.
